Nordic Mythology

I've been a fan of Nordic mythology since I was a kid, so when I went to see "Thor" yesterday, I was kind of worried that it was going to completely ignore the legends. While the movie's Loki was malicious and power-hungry rather than a simple trickster, Sif's hair wasn't terribly pretty let alone blonde, and the plot was fairly standard, the music and special effects were more than enough to make up for the problems.

Anyway, I was inspired by the movie and a convenient tutorial on a paint.net forum to create this picture:

This is a Viking helmet and Mjolnir, Thor's Hammer. The helmet was created based on a tutorial from paint.net, as was the engraving on the hammer and the stone texture.
