Dear Yuletide Author,

Hi! Happy Yuletide! I’m so excited to see what you write for me. I’ve done my best to give you some ideas, but of course if there’s something you’ve been dying to write for one of these fandoms, absolutely go for it!

General likes: gen, friendships, found families, team as family, plot, character studies, hurt/comfort, humor, angst, banter, competence, magic, mythology, what-if’s, crossovers (as long as I’m familiar with the other fandom - see my ao3 account and my tumblr). I’m okay with relationships, but I prefer a fade to black before anything gets explicit

Do Not Want’s: explicit sex, rape/non con, A/B/O, soulmates, incest, one-sided pining, Hanahaki disease, mundane AU’s (i.e. coffee shop, high school), reader or author inserts, sickfic, de-aging, accidental child acquisition, major character death. Also, I’d rather not get a Christmas-themed fic.

The Fugitive (TV 1963) (Richard Kimble, Philip Gerard)
I have many many feelings about Richard Kimble and his ability to reach out and connect with people over and over. Also feelings over the fact that he doesn’t turn his back on society even when it’s failed him and is determined to see him dead. My favorite episodes are ones where Kimble encounters a situation that parallels his own (Come Watch Me Die, A Taste of Tomorrow, Glass Tightrope), ones where he faces a particularly tough moral choice (Wings of an Angel, Smoke Screen), and ones where escape seems particularly hopeless (Nightmare at Northoak, The Iron Maiden, Landscape with Running Figures, The 2130, Tug of War, May God Have Mercy, Conspiracy of Silence).

I didn't specifically request Donna in my sign-up, but if you want to include her, she is very welcome. I did request both Kimble and Gerard, but if the story you want to write only features one of them, I'm okay with that.

Prompts:
* Any classic situation where Kimble can’t stop himself from helping someone, and gets in trouble for it.
* Kimble and Gerard in some sort of dangerous situation together, where they have to rely on each other to get out of it but also they both keep trying to get the upper hand.
* Kimble almost always had a fake name, backstory, and ID at hand. Did he come up with the names and histories when he couldn't sleep at night, or was it a way to keep his mind occupied while doing a boring job? Did he make the ID's himself or was he good at finding someone to print them?
* I got very strong Quantum Leap (1989 version) vibes from this show - a guy shows up, fixes something in someone’s life, and then moves on to the next town. There is so much crossover potential here. Sam can leap into Kimble, with Kimble freaking out in the Waiting Room because he’s essentially being held prisoner there and also because of how terrifying it is to put his life into Sam’s hands. Or, Sam can leap into Gerard while Gerard has Kimble in custody, and Sam has to decide whether or not to let Kimble escape based on whatever historical info Ziggy can find and also based on the fact that Sam would absolutely form an emotional connection with Kimble.

Quantum Leap (TV 1989) (Sam Beckett, Al Calavicci)
This show had such an incredible mixture of humor and love and acceptance of all kinds of people. I loved the bond between Sam and Al, and I always particularly enjoyed the episodes where the situation Sam leaped into had particular emotional resonance for either him or Al.

Prompts:
* A fun or angsty leap adventure (particularly if Sam and/or Al gets to have lots of feels about the situation).
* Sam goes from leap to leap with no breaks in between, and that must be exhausting. I would love to actually see that take a toll on him and/or for him to get to rest for a bit in that bar with Al to keep him company to give them both a chance to breathe.
* What was it like working for a top secret military project trying to design a time machine? Did Sam have to go to fundraising galas alongside Al so they could show off their expert scientist? Did he and Al ever have discussions on what they would be willing to use the time machine’s abilities for, and where they would draw the line regardless of what the government said?
* I didn’t request the 2022 version this year, but if you're familiar with both then a crossover would be amazing, with Sam and Al showing up during one of Ben's leaps or vice versa.

MythQuest (TV) (Any)
I very much enjoyed the whole “modern character thrown into a historical/mythological situation and applying modern solutions and making modern references” thing that Alex always did when he was the one to go into myths, and I loved how smart and brave Cleo was and the clever solutions she was able to come up with by taking advantage of her knowledge of the genre and the myth she was in.

Prompts:
* Alex or Cleo goes into any myth that wasn’t featured on the show
* Philthy finds out about the Cybermuseum and accidentally ends up in a myth (I would absolutely love if it was the myth of Prince Ivan but it doesn’t have to be)
* A conclusion to the cliffhanger at the end of the last episode

Again, thank you, and I can’t wait to read what you write for me!
